To any user, Placing an adobe edge html file into Indesign 5.5 results in the spinning beach ball any thoughts why. Regards Vividi
If I create a container frame and then go to web content in the overlay creator the URL or File shows in the web content area, I then navigate to the required HTML file created in adobe edge and place this into the URL inside the overlay creator. I then save this as a .indd document and try to preview this with the Adobe content viewer this results in the spinning beach ball and then I have to quite indesign. Regards Vividi
I have this same problem, only the animation html file created in Edge works fine in browsers and InDesign's Preview but when I update my folio and try to view on the iPad with the Content Viewer, I just get a static image of my animation.
Has anyone gottent this to work?
I'm not sure if my structure is incorrect...like I said, it works in the preview, but not in the content viewer on the iPad. Right now I have it set up like this:
Feature_Article Folder
> Title Animation Folder
> edge_includes
> images
> XXXedge.css
> XXXedge.js
> XXXedgeActions.js
> XXX.edge
> XXX.html
Then in my InDesign file for the Web Overlay, I'm linking directly to the XXX.html file within that structure.
