Is there an ePub desktop edition app for the iPad?

If I download a book directly to my iPad, my adobe  desktop edition doesn't recognize my sign out. Is it a sync thing?

    I've been having a similar problem. Until 2 days ago, I've been reading checked out library books via an ap called OverDrive. Now I'm getting a message that my titles are invalid and that I must verify my Adobe ID.
