Testing latency of Flex messaging system

Hi,

 

I have a system where clients connect via HTTP streaming and publish and receive messages using the Producer and Consumer Flex classes. Are there any tools available for testing latency of simulated client messages in a realistic manner? Does BlazeDS contain a streaming client class I could use to build my own testing framework?
