I just reinstalled and re-downloaded the Epic importer. Now it works FYI. I am wondering though if anyone has figured out how to import the R3D files all in one folder as opposed to one R3D in its own folder.
Alright, if you make a new bin, and import the top directory R3D folder all of the R3D files will be in the same folder in the project pane. Oh the joys of learning new software
So I guess Premiere says RMD's aren't supported, but I can occasionally get them to work. Up until recently I was able to reload the looks I had in RCX but now its not working. I am not sure what the issue is. I wonder if the RMD directory isn't getting referenced correctly in Premiere.
I just got it to work. 5.5 does work, but I had to make sure that my RMD files from my laptop directory were copied to my tower once I got back to the studio. Make sure you install the red epic importer properly and it should be smooth sailing.
Sorry for the confusion. I just copied the RMD directory from my MBP to the Mac Pro. I seems that I still can not reconnect the original RMD to the copies on my G-speed. Not sure how to do that.
Ok I figured it out: Clear RMD Directory in RCX pref, then resave all of your RMD's in your RCX bins. Premiere will only look for RMD's that are in the original Epic folder structure.
