Where is upgrade?  Running 9 pro with 8.2 Designer

Aug 26, 2011 10:24 AM

I've heard I can upgrade my 8.2 LiveCycle to 9.0 for a minimal charge. I can't find where to do this.

You can follow 'Upgrading' section of LiveCycle 9.0 documentation set @ http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/9.0/documentation.html

to find out how you can upgrade your existing LiveCycle server to LiveCycle 9.0

Hina's response deals with the technical issues of how to prepare for and execute a server upgrade from LiveCycle ES Update 1 (aka 8.2) to ES2 (9).

However, I'm not sure if that's really your question.

    • If your question is about the technical issues, Hina's comments stand well
    • If you are looking for general information about upgrading the LiveCycle server, check out the upgrade page at http://www.adobe.com/products/livecycle/upgrade/
    • If you are running Acrobat 9 pro and want to know about upgrades to Acrobat which include Designer (Acrobat X includes designer ES2 (aka 9)) you should look at the Acrobat pages http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html

But it'd be worthwhile to know exactly what it is that you have so that we can give an appropriate answer.
