Why can DC create a Blkbry AE project but no Iphone AE project

After going thru a tutorial with R. Harrington I noticed that he was unable to create an AE Project for the iphone. So I tried it myself. Blackberry Curve and Droid allow me to "Create" the AE project file, but the 2 Apple apps I mentioned don't. What's up with that?

Hi lasvideo

That is because iPhones do not natively play *.3gp files, and the AE workflow creates 3gp files which would not be supported on iPhones
