I have a pdf document which has equal left and right margins around the text. I'd like to increase the size of the left margin at the cost of the right margin on odd pages, and do the opposite on even pages. The purpose is to be able to join printed pages with some glue or other methods after printing.
Is it possible to do with Acrobat Pro X and how?
I have also additional question about the Crop tool (I am wondering if this tool could solve my problem). After choosing Tools->Page->Crop nothing happens. The documentation says:
"(...)Crop one or more pages
But when I click on Crop, there is no popup menu. Clicking on other options like Replace, Delete or Rotate displays a popup dialog box, but not Crop. I only see that the mouse cursor changes and I can drag a rectangle and crop. But with many pages, this would be imposible to do page by page.
draw the rectangle and hit return to bring up the dialog
or Choose Tools > Print Production > Set Page Boxes.

I can't make it work. Can someone help me?
I have a pdf document ideally centered on a page.
Then I set the following in Tools->Print Production->Set Page Boxes:
Trim Box, All pages, Apply to Odd pages only -> Top, Bottom and Right margins set to 0,5 inches, Left set to 0.
Trim Box, All pages, Apply to Even pages only -> Top, Bottom and Left margins set to 0,5 inches, Right set to 0.
In the Set Page Boxes dialog box the green Trim Box shows definitely that the page should look asymmetrical.
However, when I print the two subsequent pages, they are still ideally centered.
So I'll repeat my original question: how to make a 0.5 inches margin on the left side of odd pages and 0,5 inches on the right side of even pages?
