Hello,

Is there an offical plug in or tool to do this conversion easily? Using Frame Maker 9 I only see the options to export to PDF or XML. And I'm trying to maintain as much of the style/formatting as possible.

I'm looking to convert a couple of .FM or .book files so they are editable in Microsoft Word.

Thanks,

Dean

File > Save As > [Save as type:] Microsoft RTF1.6. Open the RTF file in Word and save it as a .doc or .docx file(or not, depending on your needs). If you only have a few files, doing it manually works. We do whole books, so we have FrameScript to automate it for us. If you are doing lots of files and the RTF quality is not sufficient, then a commercial solution like MIF2Go is a good solution.
