I am trying to load Adobe 8.1 on my new computer but i cant find the original software to do so. I spoke with Adobe and they said there is no where to get that software on thier site as it is an older version; so i would need to pay for an upgrade. Does anyone know where i can get the original software on the internet?

Adobe is a company... do you mean Acrobat?

Since Acrobat is now at version 10 (Acrobat X) the telephone person is corrrect, you are out of luck trying to find version 8

If you do find a place that claims to have Acrobat 8 for download... don't... it is most likely a hacked pirate version that will load malware on your computer

Also be careful of eBay Fraud http://forums.adobe.com/thread/372537

You are correct, Acrobat, so i am out of luck without my CD; i guess.....

You might try these places for Old or Used Software http://www.emsps.com/oldtools/ Or http://www.retrosoftware.com/ but if one does have v8 it will most likely NOT be at a super low price
