remove texture from fill

hi

I was wondering if theirs a way to remove a selected texture from a fill.

eg. I create at rectangle. On the Fill section on the properties panal I select solid and some random color. Then I select a texture. eg. Burlap.

Now I regret picking the Texture. I dont want a different texture. I want "none" or "" - blank.

I know a can just set the "Amount of Texture" to 0%. That just seems wrong.

And for the rest of the document I will have to create objects with "Burlap - 0%".

Anybody know a way to remove the selected texture?

Best

John

Setting the value to 0is the only way. It's odd but that's the way it is.

    Hi John,

This is not a bug but the way it is in Fireworks. Zero means nothing so there is no texture. If you notice, any vector you draw has a default texture with a 0 value - I think Grain 0 is what is shown mostly. If it makes you feel better you can change Burlap 0 to Grain 0 - they are both the same - no texture. I understand how small things can bug us sometimes :-)
