In the new version - full relationship with AdobeDPS
Create content in indesign and export to HTML5 (JS\CSS) for webview or htmlstacks
All interactives are optimized for speed work on the tablets
Now we are in process of preparing a new version (currently it's in "release candidate" status)
We plan to release a new demo in two weeks.
Please fill in a demo request form to be included in waiting list for it.
You will find a lot of interesting surprises in a new version:)
One of them is the automatic generation of webView:
1) you'll be able to select the few objects in the InDesign file
2) click the Export button. And ...
- a new file with a page size equal to the size of the selected objects is created
- the selected objects are copied into a new InDesign file
- the content is automatically exported to HTML5
- a new frame appears in the source file place, which is marked as webView and a link is placed to the exported HTML5
All operations are made automatically in 15-20 seconds ![]()

Hi, you make a great job with Cosmopolitan.
I'd like to know is there a chance to add something that you made in the first free Cosmo issue. I'm talking about static image on top of some pages. When you slide down the page it stay on top.
Anyway I send a request for a demo and can't wait to test the tool.
Michal
@Michal
I do not know what method is used to Cosmo.
I can suggest a trick that has a similar result (using only functional AdobeDPS): the static object is created on the next article outside the page size and is part of the object (1 pixels) on the page.
We have added another interesting interactive in our htmlstacker: geo-hotspot - to switch between states MSO is based on Location (coordinates) of the user![]()
Until the moment of sending demos left for 2-3 days![]()
Mike
Hi Michal, this is very interesting. Would you be able to expand a little on this static object trick? I've had some un-wanted behaviors when objects are slightly bleeding off article pages and appear where there not suppose to however if I'm catching you right you could use this little bug to an advantage. So just to clarify this trick would keep an image static on a long scrollable page allowing everything else to scroll underneath? PS excited about seeing the demo tools as well. Regards
@Mike
Thanks for a great trick. This is exactly what I wanted to get. Works great.
@Christian
This little trick helps you to make an object that stay still for example on top of the page and when scroll down it does't move. I think this is a big advantage. Sorry for my english I hope you understand. You can see an example of use it in Cosmopolitan Russia Promoversion.
This is an awesome idea! but as a bug, it might be fixed in next versions of
the viewer, so you can not count on it.
I wanted to talk about this on my blog along ago. great to see a real live
example I can refer to.

I also really like the sound of this - can I just check I'm understanding this right though?
So you create the object that you want to appear over a page (so the page scrolls underneth it), and you place this object one pixel into the previous page? Then when the new page appears, the object from the previous page will be displayed over the content?
Thanks
M
Hey Mike, while waiting for the demo version, I have two questions that I hope you can answer:
- You have a demo gallery here: http://html-stacker.ru/wp-content/uploads/library/gallery/1/index.html and I am wondering if I can get the elements to be in a circle instead of the one next to the other and maybe out of focus if they are not selected. I hope I made sense, I have seen it done and your solution seems very close to that.
- Looking at the "Parallax" examples, I wanted to know if I can use 2 or 3 layers to move (linked) to one direction. I am thinking background picture in one, text on top of that, "hotspots" or media in the third layer and all moving as if they are linked to one direction (but not returning to their position when you release the mouse).
Thanks!
KAnt
@Konstantinos
- Thanks for the interesting idea - we think about the implementation
- Yes. You can create an unlimited number of layers and control the speed of movement of each layer, so you can enable or disable the "rubber returns to initial position"
@Michal
Thanks for your help ![]()
@All
Sorry for the delay in sending the demo
We have added two more interesting interactivity and wanted to include them in the demo as well
1) GeoHotspot - automatically switches the MSO in the state of the geographic coordinates of which (meta-data settings interactivity) is closest to the current location of user
2) Gravity - interactive movement of objects depending on the angle of inclination of the device (accelerometer data)
Sending a demo scheduled for 10/05/2011 (5 October)
Good news ![]()
We started sending demo
The demo version be opened for all the requests (please fill in a demo request form)
I would be grateful for the feedback and suggestions for improving

Please, is possible explain little more about this trick. I created a MSO and put out the page on left side, just 1 pixel in the page. But dosen't work.
Some one knows about this works?
