Instructions for using photo shop elements 9

Can someone please tell me if there is a manuel or instructions on how to use the PSE, step by step?  I am having a heck of a time trying to learn how to use it.  I am not a dumb person, but the tutorials jump from one thing to another.  I would like some learning tools in order to learn how to use it.

    The help files are organized very well, starting with an overview and taking you step-by-step through the programs.

     

    Hit your F1 key and start reading....

    Also, the User Guide PDF http://help.adobe.com/en_US/premiereelements/using/index.html

    Right click the PDF link in the upper right corner and select to save to your hard drive

    -the page also has links to help pages for previous versions

    Thanks to each of your for the info you sent.  I should be able to get somewhere with it now.  Sometimes, we just have to have a jump start and you guys have given it to me.
