Can I use Browserlab to test order flow?

Oct 13, 2011 9:55 AM

I want to test our site http://www.truecredit.com/?enurl=truecredit.com, but I need to go through a full order to make sure that each page renders correctly.

Is there a way to do this with Browserlab? I went to the first page, but could not click on the Continue button.

Thanks.

If the button is javascript, then no you can't.  If it's a regular html button, then it should work, but there are some links that are giving Browserlab problems.

Perhaps try http://crossbrowsertesting.com/ which apparently allows you to test javascript as well, but I haven't tried it yet.

    Hi CoachZ9,

There may be some limitations if you test directly through the BrowserLab UI, but you ought to be able to do whatever sort of testing you need to do by making use of the BrowserLab for Firebug add-on as described here: http://blogs.adobe.com/browserlab/2011/08/22/testing-private-content-w ith-browserlab/

To summarize - once you get set up with the add-on, you'll be able to interact with your page normally in Firefox and then upload the local content to BrowserLab to view the result in the browsers you have selected in BrowserLab.

    Hope this helps,

    Mark
