Hello,
This is the first time I’m posting here. Here are the details:

My company create flash movie that should be run in the background while loading an html page and that flash have certain functionality.
For some reason, i can see that the FP plug-in is trying to access adobe host: fpmacromedia2.download.com and by that cause a delay of several seconds.
I have tested it with windows 7, IE 8 and the delay occurred, but when running it with Firefox there was no delay.

I have few questions regarding this behavior:

1. There is any reason for the plug-in to try to access the macromedia host?
2. If 1 is yes, it is a mandatory flow?
3. There is any solution, or a way to prevent this redirecting?

I'll appreciate your comments for the above questions since we are facing a major issue with running this flash movie.

Thanks in advance.

Hi oShpig,

Adobe has no affiliation with download.com, or any of it's subdomains.

Could you please verify this URL? Also, please verify that neither your HTML page nor your embedded Flash movie is making these requests.

Thanks,

Stephen
