text entry box

Hi guys I have a little problem with my 1st text entry box in cp5! I have included a teb at the end of a slide, and as before I have included the control button, you know the drill; instructions are to 'type xxx into the field and when complete click on the button'. Immediate issues are

1. no cursor in the field to enable text input

2. screen runs through the pause line and to the next screen

Can't find any help in the help function so banking on you chaps again. HELP!!

Hello,

Could you post a screenshot of the timeline and of the Properties Panel of the TEB?

I'm asking for the timeline, because the focus normally is on the object that is on top of the timeline, so this should be the TEB. And the pausing point should be visible in this timeline

many thanks for taking the time to reply. I simply deleted the existing TEB and inserted another and it worked. I'd been at it for about 12 hours when I hit the snag and the brain box just gave up. All clear this morning!

And the new one was on top of the timeline, not?

Oh yes, but so was the original! I always have my master objects (click boxes, buttone etc on top of the timeline.
