Preserving CSS Borders when generating to Word

Sorry if this has been covered before - I have had a look and can't see anything...

So basically I have some lovely CSS grey borders that look very nice when I publish to the webhelp, and now I need to make a quick Word version for some developers. I think somewhat inevitably the borders disappear when being output to Word...

Is there anything I can do to make this work?

It is hard to say without specifics of the CSS and which style the border relates to. You might want to check out the following link before continuing:
