TEXT looks like crappy with rough edges in After effects

Hi All,

Recently I bought Adobe production premium for windows 7. I am facing a problem with text. When I try to put titles in Premier pro or After effects, text is not clear. It looks crappy with rough edges.

Can any one please suggest me on this? Am I missing something?

And Please suggest me on best video rendering settings for both pro and AE.

Show us a screenshot of exactly what you're seeing. Be sure to include the entire Composition panel, so that we can see how you have the switches and menus at the bottom of the panel set.

Since you're new to After Effects, I very strongly recommend that you start here to learn After Effects. Working your way through the basic materials will prevent a lot of frustration.

I wonder if the OP is creating the tiltes in PPro and AE or importing the text from say Illustrator or Photoshop?

Is the import method, if this is the case, copy and paste or some other import method?

Is the text live text or rasterized?
