John was a man of integrity and high standards. And if you poked him a little, a terrific sense of humour (it seems appropriate to use the English spelling).

He knew me here as D Fosse, and before that as Freeagent. It was in fact John - and dave milbut! - who drew me into this forum in the first place. These guys seemed to have fun, and they spoke my language (well, not exactly, but I figured I could get along with my broken English).

John will be missed.

I will truly miss his simple, quiet and always helpful responses to problems posed on these forums. I could not count the number of times his assistance to others greatly helped me in my learning about Photoshop. His passing is a great loss to this community.
