Change background color of animation in .avi file

I need to change the background color of a 2D animation that was sent to me in .avi file format. What Adobe program would I use to do this? Thanks.

    Depending on the codec used, you might be able to use Photoshop Extended.

     

    Depending on the color of the background, you might be able to use a basic color replace in Premiere or After Effects.

    SWF-AVI-GIF CONVERTER 2.3 is a nice software which can help you.. This software changes width, height, color depth, background, transparent color of outputed file.
