I don't use my old Adobe Acrobat very often but now i realized, that direct printing to Acrobat 8.0 is not possible with Lion - there is no error message but there is no PDF created - the Error Log says the following:

It is possible to create PDFs with the Distiller - it is also possible to save as PDF - i wanted to direct print via Adobe Acrobat 8.0 to use some advanced printing options which the integrated PDF creating tools in Lion doesn't offer and where Adobe Acrobat 8.0 says, that saving as PDF is not possible (i wanted to combine 2 PDFs with size 12 cm x 12 cm on one A4 page with cutting marks)
