Flash player blank/fragmented with most applications and websites

I'm having trouble getting Flash Player to work with most websites that require it.  It works fine when I am on the youtube website itself, but when I access a youtube video through facebook, the audio plays but the screen is blank (unless I move the mouse in a certain way, then I get brief flashes of the video).  Street view of google maps is dark except for small parts of the image unless I go to full screen mode.  Trying to use flash player on any other site is a hopeless cause.

 

I have updated the latest versions of Flash, but I get the same problems.  I can't do anything with the right click settings screen either, either to see it for any prolonged length of time or click on anything useful on that screen.

 

Any ideas?

    Do you have the DIVX Plus Web Player installed?

    I tried the 3rd party content, increasing the allowed memory, but that didn't help.  Downloading the DIVX web player didn't seem to fix it either.

    The DIVX plus web player interfers with Flash Player, one of the interferences is no street view in Google maps.  That is wy I asked if you had the DIVX plus web player.

    I tried installing and uninstalling DIVX and didn't see any change in Flash Player's performance (still blank most of the time), but it is possible as you suggested that there is interferance from another program.

    So if you right-click on a Flash object, nothing happens?

     

    Are you on Windows?  Then try http://forums.adobe.com/thread/892474

     

    After that, try if disabling Hardware Acceleration helps.

    I tried deleting the flash player folders but the problem hasn't been resolved.  I also tried disabling Hardware Acceleration helps, but the currently installed driver won't allow me to do it.
