CSS3 Mobile will not install on Fireworks CS5 (11.0.1.7)

I talked with Adobe support and they sent me here because they say there is no support available for this, amazing. The error message is: This extension cannot be installed, it requires Fireworks version in range of inclusively between Fireworks 11.0 and 11.1. Now I am no MIT math genius, but I do believe my product falls between those two numbers. Any help is much appreciated as I need this badly. Thanks community.Screen shot 2011-11-10 at 5.03.53 PM.png

    Hi,

    This CSS3 Mobile Pack Extension works only for Frireworks CS5 and CS5.1 version.

    HI,

    Thanks for the reply, I have Creaive Suite CS5, so how do I get the update? This is crazy, it is advertised to work with CS5 yet it does not, any way around this? Thank you very much.

    Can you please share the screenshot of the Extension Manager through which you are trying to install CSS3 Mobile Pack extension?

    Hi Dominic,

    Well I feel kind of dumb, I just purchased After Effects CS 5.5, and I already owned CS 5 Design Premium, so what happened was my CS 5.5 Extension Manager automaticaly opened when I tried to install the Fireworks CSS3 Mobile Pack, when I was about to do a screen shot, I noticed it. So, I simply opened the CS5 extension manager and it installed fine. Anyway, thanks for ypour help because I never would have noticed that. I am sure I am not the only one out there with two versions of extension manager. I appreciate your help, Dominic!

    Hi Todd,
    Please follow the below mentioned steps to install the Fireworks CSS3 Mobile Pack:

    1) Manually launch CS5 Extension Manager.

    2) Click on Install button in the Top Right side or Select the menu item File > Install Extension.

    3) Browse and select the Fireworks CSS3 Mobile Pack extension and click Open.

     

    Hope this solves your problem.
