flash player 10.1 for mac PowerPC not available for installation?

Flash Player has recently stopped working on my computer (??) and I get messages to update to the latest version of FP. When tried to install 'latest version" I was told my mac (os10.5.8 - PowerPC Processor) is only supported by flash 10.1. When tried to install from adobe site (previous versions) the archived fp10.1 was downloaded without any installation ability. I read the readme.txt from hte fp10.1 zipfile, which said adobe won't let me install that version for 'normal use' - it's only available for developers testing their movies. Huh. What am I supposed to do with that? The only compatible version as per http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html is not available for installation. What am I to do?

thanks. it worked, mostly. some things still wont' play, but many will - good enough for my needs. at least i'm no longer told to update flash anymore.
