Creating an image field in acrobat pro

Hi

 

Using Acrobat Pro 9 I'm trying to create a field that when clicked  an image can be selected from the computer and dropped into the box. I've found lots of info about inserting images into pdfs, but can't find a way to do this to make it possible as part of a form filling process  - I think it can be done wih a button but I haven't had much sucess.

 

Any help would be much appreciated!

    This can not be done with Acroforms. If you are using a Windows based computer, you may be able to do this with a LiveCycle Designer based form. Ask in the LiveCycle Designer forum.

    Thanks Michael.

     

    I thought this might be the case - but then I've found a webpage suggesting that if you create a button then enter the Javscript:

     

    event.target.buttonImportIcon();

     

    it will work. I did this and it does create a button that when clicked allows you to select an image but then when you click OK the image does not appear in the box as it suggests on the web page it will.

     

    Any thoughts?
