Add Subtitles to OSMF and SMP players (custom solution)

Hello I think this is a major problem for many developers so I posted my custom solution, this is not pretty but its working and it is a place to start, if someone wants to make a plugin out of it please contact me so I can help if I can.

    Hi Mike,

     

    It's very useful for me thanks for this,I need to add Closed captioning options in osmf player but different type of format xml like( SMPTTE format xml).I tried to use closed captioning plugin but it's not working bcause i pass the xml and video path through index.html(flashvars).any idea Mike?

    Can you please tell me how can I add a custom subtitle in OSMF Strobe Media Playback please?
