How do I download a shared document with markups and comments?

May 6, 2011 9:22 AM

I have a pdf document that was shared (in a share pod) during a collaborative meeting and is still in the virtual meeting room. I need to download it and edit. When I "save as", the document opens on my computer in the original state; with no markups and no comments. There MUST be a way to save or download the document in order to make the changes. Any ideas?

Thanks...

I do not think it is possible. When a pdf is imported into Adobe Connect it converts it to an swf and one actually edits on a white board and not on the actual pdf.

A possible work around would be to share your desktop and work directly on your desktop. In so doing you are actually editing the document itself.

Understand that when you upload a document in the share pod it is always converted to SWF (Flash). You can add highlights and drawing on top of that document but you can only print the document and you can use the print dialog to then save as PDF. Understand it will save that as PDF but it is a screen shot type view since it was a SWF file.
