Problem with Creative Cloud Desktop plugins for Illustrator CS 5.1

Hello,

Im having a problem with those plugins. I have Adobe Design Premium 5.5 - Polish language version (Windows 7)

From what I found so far is that the installation process is fine. Installation is complete. It Installs plugins for Photoshop CS 5.1 (I can work on psdx files created in ps touch), but it does not install plugins for Illustrator CS 5.1 (.idea files arent recognized by Illustrator). Maybe it's something wrong with the plugin installation path for the Polish version of the software?  I tried to contact with Adobe Support but they are sending me to forums. Tried to post it on facebook - no respond. Please help

    Are you using a english version of Windows 7? Have you tried to reinstall the plugins again?

    I'm using polish version of windows 7 (64 bit). I tried to reinstall the plugins but it didnt work. Only the psdx plugins were installed.

     

     

    But i found the solution for the problem. It works only if the adobe design premium is installed in the default folder (C:\Program Files\Adobe...). Then i had to install creative cloud desktop plugins in the default folder as well. And it worked. Otherwise only the psdx plugins were installed despite the installation of AI plugin is complete.

     

     

    I wanted to check if it's the same problem with english version. Downloaded the tryout version and installed it in a different folder (D:\Adobe). Then I installed creative cloud plugins in in the default path and it worked. Seems like this problem occurs only for polish version of the software.

    I am glad to hear that you were able to get the plugins to install. Good job on your part of testing with the english vs the Polish version of the software. I will pass this information on for you. If you need any other additional help please let us know.
