I did not mean to imply that there are no intelligent people in America; it's just that "the people of America" (or "Americans") are not generally regarded as the most intelligent species on this planet.

Stop digging a hole. What's done is done. You can't fix it.

I'm willing to accept pat's apology. My initial response to the oxymoron post was in the same vein, I think. This points out, though, that we need to think twice before posting things that might be offensive to others, or at least be very clear about a joke.

    Peter,

    Wise words indeed.

Now, as I am from Mississippi (English is my second language), I do poke fun of a certain breed of "hillbilly," but then always point out my "frame of reference," and my heritage being one myself...

I hope you have taken everything out of your chest and your website will

keep you busy to to leave you any free time to bother us here anymore.

Now go away and titillate yourself with your new found hobby.  I can

visit your site because my ISP has blocked you permanently.  I wonder why?

    Good bye.

Who's in favor of killing this thread?

I think it's gone on long enough, and it's really grating on my nerves...

Let's leave it open. Adobe isn't evil enough to suppress negative comments (some irony there), even if they probably violate the terms of use. Let's see if there's a report when he get's the refund on his next statement.

Anyone that would like to purchase "eviladobe.com" can have it for the $19.99 that we paid for it.

Think that I'll pass, but thank you for the offer.

I can almost imagine your frustration, and it's too bad that it came down to a Web site. Fortunately, wiht almost 20 years of Adobe interaction, I have never had one issue, but the one that you encountered was a "biggie." I have also done business with Digital River (though never thorugh Adoebe), and historically, all has gone, exactly as it should.

Sorry that you had the issues that you did, but glad that the $ was returned. I would only wish all buyers the same good fortune with Adobe, that I have had - though I probably have just jinxed myself...

    Good luck,

And, as for all you protectors of the Adobe Empire, enjoy your life of slavery. We'll stick with the Macromedia products that we started with, they're better anyway.

Hmm. Seems I heard a story about another company buying Macromedia a while back. Anyone remember who that was?

Actually what I heard was Macromedia bought Adobe and that's the reason the service has gotten worse and bugs have increased.

Every year we hear something about Microsoft wants to buy Adobe but it never moves any further then the news headlines.  In my opinion, if M$ gets its hands on Adobe then the prices of adobe products would become affordable.  Upgrades of single products would be below £100 like any other M$ products.
