Cannot Get Flasher Player 11 active to work..

When every I try to run any application it tells me to install the latest Version of Adobe Flasher Player. It is already installed and I cannot fix it.

I have tried everything. I have installed and reinstalled. when I look in programs all I have running in Adobe

1. Flasher Player 11 Active X

2.Photoshop 2.0 which need for my current work for a non profit and cannot afford to replace

3. Adobe Reader X (10.1.1 )

4. Digital Edition

Can anyone help. I need to get a tutorial off of YouTube I cannot get it to run. I have turned of my Security Programs.. Help...

The ActiveX version will only work in Internet Explorer. If you're using a different browser, then you need to go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download it for that particular browser. You may also need Shockwave For Director too. Here's the link for that: http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/

You don't mention which operating system you're using either.

Incidentally, if you have Firefox installed, download this Add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/download-youtube/?src=u serprofile

Then when you go to any video on Youtube, you'll see a button underneath it called "Download". Click that to download it to your own machine. This might work even if the video doesn't actually play.
