Creating static document in PDF

Dec 8, 2011 9:07 AM

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if it is possible to create a "static" copy of the PDF document.  I would like the document to be "locked" so to speak from any marking or changing with the exception of adding new pages.

All help is appreciated

    Hi there!

Kind of the wrong forum to ask PDF questions in but I can answer that for you. You can set what you are after in the Document Properties of the PDF on Mac this is accessed via File > Properties or Command D (Cntrl D on PC) from there go to the top tab named Security and set Password security, changes allowed, Inserting, deleting, and rotating pages, see attached image. I hope that helps.Picture 1.png

I think you are just limited to the grouped options available, can I suggest you post the question on acrobatusers.com forums, they know everything
