Transport Location Disappears on Play?

I'm used to setting my audio editing mode to click the transport marker on a location. Playing the audio from that point.   Then when I hit stop [spacebar] the marker resets to the previously clicked [greyed transport marker] location on the timeline.   How can I set soundbooth to do this?
