cs5.5 "Insert image" dialog box missing

Hi,

Since some days when clicking "insert image" in the insert menu or in the insert panel, the "Image Tag Accessibility Attributes" box is appearing, but not the dialog box to select a picture. After clicking OK a placeholder image is opened and only then I can right-click or go into the property inspector to select a picture.

What I am doing wrong?

    Since some days when clicking "insert image" in the insert menu or in the insert panel, the "Image Tag Accessibility Attributes" box is appearing, but not the dialog box to select a picture.

     

    In the Preferences dialog, go to the General Tab, and make sure that "Show dialog when inserting objects" is checked.
