I've been searching for a while for an (positive) answer to this question, but I can't seem to find it, so that's why I'm posting.
I was wondering if it is possible to use the soft keyboard on a touch screen 'desktop' computer (w7). I.e. it is a touch screen with an integrated computer. It IS possible to attach a keyboard (and mouse) by usb port, but we'd rather not. I've tried needsSoftKeyboard / requestSoftKeyboard() / interaction=touch en stuff like that. This probably means that it is not possible, but it would prove to be awesome if there was a way to make it work.
Thanks in advance,

Hmm, this OS (w7) in combination with the touch screen does provide a soft keyboard everytime you 'touch' a text area, except when it's a text area running in the program. On the other hand, windows XP and windows 7 etc all support an ''on screen keyboard'' (typing ''osk'' in run gets you this on screen keyboard), but I'm not sure if an "on screen keyboard" is really the same as an "soft keyboard". Confusing !
