Hi,

I've encountered an interting error installing a flash player, and can't find any help content about it on the web.

After downloading the flash player setup, IE9 runs a security scan, and results in a blocked setup file.

See attached screen.

I've found a way to "unblock" it. Just open up the properties of the file, and click Unblock

And Yes, Carl E. Myers Jr. is Right, download the full installer, not the samll web setup

In your second screenshot, it says in the middle, "You must unblock this publsher to run this software". Did you do that because if you didn't Windows will have added it to the firewall blocklist.

I tried adding it to the firewall exceptions. The .exe itself.. didn;t help..

Seems strange to me, what does it have to do with the firewall ?

Turning OFF the firewall doesn't help either
