using lightroom colour labels

if i select and colour label a new picture while showing attributes in all colours the last picture selected jumps to the top of the atribute colour selection meaning I have to search for that image in its colour category, is there a way to hold the last selected image in view after colour selecting.

    You probably have your Filter (menu above your filmstrip) set to filter by Color. If you don't want to have the newly added colored image to move, turn off your filter or change it to Filter by Date. Hope this helps. David
