happy new year forumers!!!!
ill start off the year asking about the bevel effects of ps.
ive beveled up this eclipse and on the top eclipse you can see the lines its making while adding more bevel to it,but why does it do this breaking up the smoothness of the shape?so on the bottom eclipse(same eclipse)i had to boost up the smoothness to get rid of the lines its making.
is there a way to preserve the bevel nice and sharp without those disturbing lines?
thank you.
You obviously mean ellipse, as in an elliptical shape, not "eclipse." ![]()
ellipse: a regular oval shape, traced by a point moving in a plane so that the sum of its distances from two other points (the foci) is constant, or resulting when a cone is cut by an oblique plane that does not intersect the base.
Now, how about giving the good folks here some details to go on, like the exact version of Photoshop you are using (e.g. CS4 11.0.2, or CS5 12.0.4) and of the OS, what exact tools you used to draw your shapes, what effects you have applied, the exact color mode and image depth of your file, etc.?
