Zoom using scroll wheel on a mouse

Having just got a new logitech anywhere mx mouse and replaced my imac...when i zoom in on cs 5 now using the scroll wheel it seems to zoom in loads by a slight turn of the mouse wheel...is there any way you can adjust this ?

    You have to adjust the scroll rate in the OS preferences -- Photoshop just responds to the scroll amount given to it by the OS.

    Thanks Chris thats great but even on the slowest it seems fast and then when i go back to safari it is far too slow !!!

    Its only started to happen on the new imac....:-(

    Yeah, it's something with the OS settings -- Photoshop doesn't know what kind of device you're using at all.  And I don't know how Safari and Photoshop could get different signals from the OS.

     

    Plus I use Logitech wheel mice on many of my systems, without such problems.
