Hey there everybody,

Santa brought me Photoshop and Premiere Elements 10 for my Mac, and I´m trying as hard as I can to run it on my iMac...

The biggest problem is:

The Installation-Manager requires to close "PhotoshopServer" and "dynamiclinkmanager" and guess what: I don´know how to f**king close them!!! (please pardon my cuss but I´m done)

It would be incredible if there´s someone who can solve my problem for/with me!!

Best Simon

    Hi,

Did you have any older versions of Photoshop installed on your Mac?

First, reboot your computer. Then before you begin installation, navigate to the "Activity Monitor" on your Mac.(can be found under utilities).

Once you open Activity Monitor, Select "All processes" in the dropdown list at the top.

Look for Photoshopserver and dynamiclinkmanager in the list of processes.

Select them and click on "Quit".

    Try reinstalling Photoshop.

Do let us know if you continue to face the same issue.
