Disable clicking sound

HI all,
THere is this clicking sound after you click on a button/clickable object, which is annoying for some users in my organisation. Is there a way to disable that click sound?

    Assuming you have visited the properties of all the objects and disabled sound there, and you have disabled sound in the project settings, all that really remains is to use fellow Adobe Community Expert Paul Dewhurst's silent mouse file.
