I'm new in Captivate, but I feel great with the features in this Captivate. I'm using v5 elearning suit.
I want to create eLearning applications like scracth below.
I think Adobe Captivate can be part of the application, possibly with interaction using flash. I dont know where I should start.... I was not a problem with using the database, either standalone or with a webserver.
I don't think what you want to do is possible with Captivate.
I believe you can export an XML file of the quiz questions, and import one...but if that is possible, pretty sure that can only happen in the authoring environment. You likely cannot load an external quiz bank 'at run time' using Captivate.
Your project would better be custom developed in HTML/JS or Flash, unless you can find a rapid-authoring tool which supports such 'load quiz at runtime' functionality (I don't know of one, though we have an internal dev tool that's similar...however it outputs a SCORM package for LMS loading, not one that will report to a custom or Adobe 'quiz results analyzer').
