Handling menu items in menu created by CSXSInterface.instance.setPanelMenu

Folks,

If I create menu using CSXSInterface.instance.setPanelMenu, such as new XML(<Menu><MenuItem Id="Item_1" Label="Item 1"/></Menu>) - (I removed some quotations intentionally), is there a way to enable/disable menu items on fly? I tried to add attribute enabled="false" but this does not look it has any effect.

Any idea appreciated.

    That means you've got to go native, right?

    I'm not sure what you mean by "go native". CS SDK panel flyout menus do not support enabling/disabling. You can work around it by changing the contents of the flyout menu on the fly...

    If you look into flyout menus e.g. for layers, you can see that some items get disabled depending on conditions. So far I am guessing this is done using C/C++ layer, or is this some internal PS only approach?

    Yes. Native panels can enable and disable menu items. It's a CSXS panel limitation...

    Is there another way to create flyout menu without using CSXS?
