The Proper Place to Submit a Feature Request

Jan 17, 2012 10:34 AM

Tags: #feature_requests

This is a beta forum and will be closed at the terminus of the beta. The best place to post a new feature request or to check if one exists already is here: http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family

There are places to discuss and vote (and more importantly accumulate votes). It is populated with team members as well as gurus. More importantly-it survives after this forum closes.

    Rikk

You may think it the proper place, but the software used on the Photoshop family pages is simply dreadful.

If you want people to participate over there then make it more user friendly.

It’s also impossible to sign in with an Adobe ID unless your screen name starts with a letter of the alphabet.

    Very disssapointing.

    Regards.

    99jon ...

First off, Rikk doesn't "think" it is the proper place to submit formal feature requests ... he merely pointed you to the place that IS the proper place to submit such requests ... nor is he in charge of Adobe's choice of software to use for that forum ... He, like the rest of us must use what is offered to reach the desired goal ... Once you post your ideas and requests there (even vote and support other ideas already posted) they will catch the eyes of the development team in a more efficient and timely manner ...

Though the other forum is also used by Adobe, it is not part of the User to User forum that this location is part of ... I'm pretty sure Adobe ID's are not directly recognized on that forum and you have to create an account and log in using your email address and not your Adobe forum username ...

If any of these items are troubling to you, by all means please do express them ... however ... Rikk is NOT an Adobe Customer Service representitive and the wrong fellow to express your dismay to ... he simply pointed you in the right direction ....

I believe you can also log on using your Facebook login, amongst others, if that helps.  Try here for your Facebook login: http://www.facebook.com/lightroomqueen?sk=app_227698805184
