Same as light. The edge of the universe is expanding at the speed of light. So we will never get there...except for superluminal communications, which have been proven to exist. (Alain Aspect, 1977)

    Seems to be.

I wonder if the bold and  italic  are working?

All the text stuff seems to work.

It goes fast enough, but I am at home on my 12 GB RAM Computer & it darn well should fast.

    Here is another texty test.

(As opposed to a testy test.)

    How about the fonts?

    Seemingly.

I'm so glad tables are back.

    For the following reasons:

    GreatnessHeader 2Header 3
I think there are maybe some bugs still to work out.... like  why is there so much white space on the right?

Don't yet see a way to go to the last post in a thread.

I see some improvement? But they just opened the shop again. Let's give em a week before we start carping.

    No, we don't.

If you're looking for a link to the last post, try the Discussions tab instead of Overview.  You can make it the default.

And so the thread theme is not lost in this post:

    Lawrence,

Can you share what the under-sheriff "cornered?" I can imagine a few things, and especially given the location, state of Oregon - say a wolverine with hepatitis, a chihuahua on steroids, a scary 600 lb. snake w/ a headache, or maybe a lady with PMS, and a maxed-out credit card at a Khol’s sale?

    Just curious,

He was referring to calls he has had to field that are the result of stupidity in the wild. It was an aside to a story about the rescue of a toddler who fell into a very cold creek...and survivied. Sort of some color by the reporter to give the man character.

I know the area pretty well. I would move there in a heartbeat...if I had a bit of extra earning capability there.

I thought of making it into a banner and putting it over my bench. I am back at Intel doing contract work, and sometimes....
