OK, how is this not resolved by now? Yes, the nesting trick does work, but when you're working with 9+ sequences in one project, having to nest before exporting is just a pain. Oh yeah, and also the mpeg-4 encoder is a little off in 5.5.x and gives Adobe Media Player and Windows Media Player hell with a 4.2 complexity video (and remember, I'm on a 3.2GHz i7 comp here, it shouldn't be a problem), dropping frames left and right (the thing is, I can't tell if it's a problem in the original rendered file or just in the encoding for playback). I payed a serious amount of money for this program, and it works great up until the point that I actually use it to render my footage...show some customer care here and fix this stuff in 5.5.3 because it's not right to leave me with a semi-functional product and then charge me for the fix (i.e. if they wait until CS6).
