How to deploy a CAR without CFAdmin

Can someone tell me how I can deploy a CAR to my local workstation without using CFAdmin?  

 

For some unknown reason I can't login to CFAdmin using Internet Explorer - it just returns me back to the login page.  I can login using Chrome or FF but deploying a CAR using CFAdmin doesn't seem to work as expected.

    I don't think there's a way to automatically deploy a CAR file without using the CF Administrator. When you say "doesn't seem to work as expected", what do you mean exactly?

    Thank you for the response Dave.

     

    Regarding deploying the CAR with Chrome, when I select the CAR file and click 'Deploy' the only thing that happens is the CAR input field goes blank.  I've been working with at this site for six months and we ran into the problem when we first set up my workstation. Apparently other developers experienced it too. We had to use IE to deploy the CAR(s).   Now I'd like to install a couple new CF instances for other applications.

     

    FYI,  IE is causing a problem too.  I can't login into CFAdmin to the new instances.   The login and password are correct but the login page is just redisplayed when attempt to sign-in. 

     

    So, I can login with Chrome but can't deploy the CAR(s) but can't login with IE so I can deploy the CAR(s).

    I think I'd focus on getting CF Administrator to work with IE. It sounds like you might have some deeper problem, which might also affect your ability to deploy CARs.
