Can not hear anything on my exported file

Hi,

 

I don't know if I hit a wrong button somewhere along the way or what.

 

I have a session I've built in the Multi-track editor. I can play it just fine in the editor.

 

When I try to export (file/export/multi-track mixdown) it outputs the wav file and it shows that it has like 300+megs, but when playing it, it does not sound.

 

It is like a mute button got pressed when exporting or something.

 

Any help would be wonderful. On a deadline for a school project.

    Is the file actually silent, or just playing silent.  In other words, what does the waveform of the exported file show?

    One common 'gotcha' here is to accidentally leave the master fader set to zero when you do the export...

    Wish I could answer that. I had put the non workiung files in the trash.

     

    What I can tell you is that they looked like they had everything there. They showed the corred amount of megs etc.

     

    I could open them in itunes etc and the counter would move as if it were playing, but it was not producing any sound.

    Thanks. It looks like it was set correctly.

     

    But that got me thinking.

     

    I checked the inputs and outputs, saved the session again and it output just fine this time.
