I'm getting the same message this morning.  It was working fine yesterday.  Have you found out what the problem is?

Uninstalled, re-installed, changed computer date - no luck! It worked on Tuesday!

Something tells me that someone at Adobe screwed up the timing on this or they expected to have a new preview was supposed to be available by 01 February.

Hopefully Adobe will address this quickly as they have webinars scheduled later this month to show people how to use the converter.

I was getting the same error. Called Adobe Customer Support and they sent me a new converter. You may want to first uninstall the converter and upgrade Adobe Air before calling.

I too, am getting the same error.  Thanks for letting us know about calling Adobe Customer Support.  They really should update their download of the current converter.

Called Customer Support and they hooked me up with a new one after checking my Adobe ID.  Looks like I'm back in business.  If you get there, I recommend uninstalling the old one first.

Same problem.   It still worked last Friday.  Today it does not work.  Adobe Air has loaded an update.  Could it be related to that?

Does anyone have a solution yet?

Looks like the Adobe Captivate team is posting a new version today out on their site.  If you don't want to wait, you might try this:

Call Customer Support and go through the phone tree to get Captivate support.  They'll ask you a series of questions, then send you the version that doesn't expire after Jan 31, 2012.

The new version is available on labs, though you have to click through to the downloads page to see that it is indeed the updated version.
