size of thumbnails in spry image slideshow with filmstrip

is there some way to make it so the thumbnails on the filmstrip show a mini pic of the actual linked photo.

At the moment it only shows a section of the photo (often BG) which kind of defeats the purpose of having a thumbnail filmstrip at all.

Yes.
When you click on the thumbnails in live mode it shows the pics at whatever size they are originally saved as in your file. So I had to take each pic thru photoshop and save them as the size I wanted them displayed at so they were more consistent and fit better on the screen.
The size of the pics in the code refers to the size of the thumbnails so I changed them there (~72 x 60px).
