PDF Created using PDF Creator Pilot showing gray boxes when pdDocMain.InsertPages()

Hi,

 

I created a document using PDF Creator Pilot. Later when I try doing pdDocMain.InsertPages(-2, pdDocAppend, 0, -3, 1) the pdfDocMain becomes corrupted. The 'b' ,'w' and 'symbols' are converted into gray boxes.

 

also when I convert the pdf to pdf/A the issue is resolved.

 

Can anybody help on why this is occuring
