In the recent release of adobe reader version 10.1.2 external files (non pdf) can no longer be opened from within reader, I cant seem to change any security settings to allow the to be opened. I work for a Maths Textbook manufacturer and we have literally hundreds of thousands of PDF's which are in distribution (and have been for years), all of these PDF files contain links to non-pdf files. As these can no longer be opened our customers workflow has been significantly impacted. Could you please provide some information as to when/how this will be resolved?
A similar issue occured with the release of Adobe Reader 9.3.4 which caused significant problems for our buissness.
This was corrected (as of adobe 10) but the problem appears to have been re-introduced.
